Rootbound is plant startup application founded in 2020. Our mission is to provide plant lovers around the world with the smooth, online platform necessary to build a thriving worldwide community! At Rootbound we encourage users swap, adopt and discuss plants with one another.
How did we get started?
It's simple, really... What do plants do? They grow! And what do people do? They share! Rootbound is a place where one can connect with plant lovers in their neighborhood and around the world. When your pothos is getting out of hand simply, snip, propogate, and post! We're sure you'll find someone overjoyed to take new cuttings off your hands, or, better yet, trade you one of theirs in return!
Where are we headed?
Rootbound launched in beta in November, 2022. We will continue to improve our platform and grow our community. We hope to release our app on iOS and Android in the near future. If you like the project, invite your friends!
