Rootbound is a plant startup founded in 2020. Our mission is to provide plant enthusiasts around the world with a smooth, online platform necessary to build a thriving worldwide community! At Rootbound, we encourage users to swap, adopt, and discuss plants with one another.
How did we get started?
It's simple, really... What do plants do? They grow! And what do people do? They share! Rootbound is a place where you can connect with plant people in your neighborhood and around the world. When your pothos is getting out of hand, simply snip, propagate, and post! We're sure you'll find someone overjoyed to take new cuttings off your hands, or better yet, trade you one of theirs in return!
Where are we headed?
Rootbound launched in beta in November 2022. We will continue to improve our platform and grow our community. We hope to release our app on iOS and Android in the near future. If you like the project, invite your friends!
